Frequently Asked Questions:
What is Millennium Exile?
Millennium Exile (or MillEx) is a project I started in 2009. It is an original story that I wrote for the purpose of someday being made into an Anime.
It’s a fantasy/action, shonen adventure.
Think…’Bleach’ meets ‘Fate Stay Night’, but set in a ‘Final Fantasy’ world :)

Did you draw all this artwork?
Both yes and no.
I am the designer of the characters, world, weapons, etc.
However, while I'm a pretty decent artist; my time is heavily taken up with writing, planning, marketing, and other authory-type jobs I now find myself responsible for.
Therefore, I hire some of the Internet’s most amazing anime artists to draw my designs....resulting in the amazing artwork you will see here :)

Is the story anywhere for me to read?
Unfortunately not.
Millennium Exile has always been planned for pitching to a studio for anime development and therefore, I have kept the contents of the story offline. That being said, however, I do upload my characters for you to all see and I always include some story-driven content with each new release!
PSYCHE!
I have heard your requests, and after several twists of the arm, Millennium Exile is now a freaking light novel series!
Hit the “Light Novel Series” link above and start exploring the world of Ryner :)
You can also check out a small 4-page manga special here:
Not to mention, that I have a free first chapter of volume 1’s audiobook here:

What Studio?
My intended animation studio was originally Studio BONES, as they have an amazing array of talent and tend to lean towards the superhuman battle genre however I am currently looking at other studios who fit the bill.
For this, I’m looking to pitch to licensing and streaming companies around the globe.

Can I contribute in any way?
Yes, absolutely.
You can predominantly do this by purchasing a copy of the light novel series. It’s available in paperback, ebook, and audiobook formats in most counties.Another way is through donations or by becoming a Patreon. You can explore more about this on the “About” page.

Why not use crowdfunding sites like Kickstarter or IndieGoGo?
Mainly because I was originally looking to pitch Millennium Exile as an anime original title to studios, and thus - I would not be animating it myself. It has now since turned into a light novel series, largely thanks to the support already generated through financial contributions from fans around the world.
Nowadays, I don’t really need to crowdfund all too much…so let’s leave crowdfunding sites like that to people who are more deserving. :)
